Le Tour de Eyeweb is an ambitious mission to support local children in Hull and East Yorkshire. Together, our team will be cycling the distance from Hull to Paris to raise awareness and funds for HEY Children’s University.
Our web design and digital marketing team will use two exercise bikes set up at their HQ in Hessle to bike a total of 500 miles, roughly the distance from Hull to Paris. We will each bike for around one hour a day between 27th November and 1st December.
“We wanted to create an event that got the whole Eyeweb team involved, kept us fit, and gave something back to a worthy cause. Together, we came up with Le Tour De Eyeweb. By riding the 500 miles, we will raise funds for Hull Children’s University.” -Paul Scott, managing director.
Why champion HEY Children’s University?
We have chosen to partner with HEY Children’s University because of its total commitment to giving every child in Hull and East Yorkshire the opportunities they deserve, no matter what circumstances they were born into.
Many children around Hull and East Yorkshire do not have the same opportunities as other children in the UK. Some children only go as far as the street they live on, and some will only visit another city once they reach adulthood.
HEY Children’s University takes underprivileged children on trips, which gives them the chance to discover their interests and create their own dreams. These trips range from a day at a local business to a London experience, complete with a sleepover at the Natural History Museum.
HEY Children’s University believes that every child is brilliant at something and provides children with opportunities to discover their unique talents. HEY Children’s University’s trips expand local children’s horizons and inspire ambitious aspirations.
“This charity works tirelessly to give meaningful life experiences to underprivileged children in our area. We would encourage any business owner to find a few pounds to donate to our good cause.” -Paul Scott.
