Say Hi to Mark

What are you most looking forward to in your new position at Eyeweb? 

I love meeting new people and sharing my passion for social media, so I’m excited to work with a great team and to get to know Eyeweb’s clients. 

What keeps you busy outside of the office?

I have a massive passion for theatre. I love a night out, taking in a show, and I am an active performing member of a local theatre company. I can be regularly seen treading the boards at Hull New Theatre and Hull Truck Theatre. 

What's your favourite book?

It’s difficult to choose a favourite. I love reading and feel uncomfortable if I don’t have a book on the go, so there is always a new title waiting in the wings. I am a bit of a Harry Potter fan and also enjoy the Cormoran Strike books written under JK Rowling’s pseudonym, Robert Galbraith. However, my favourite genre has to be an exciting crime thriller. 

What's your tipple? 

Depending on my mood, either a glass of red or a nice cold pint of Guinness. I plan on heading to Dublin for a pint of the black stuff; apparently, it doesn’t get any better. 

What is your favourite marketing channel?

Well, social media, obviously! It’s a brilliant way to stay in touch with family and friends to share thoughts and experiences. Digital marketing is a great creative tool for getting products and services in front of new audiences. 

What’s your most browsed website?

I probably spend far too much time on Amazon! 

How do you like to unwind?

For me, there is nothing more relaxing than going for a walk with my family and our Golden Retriever, getting lots of fresh air, particularly if there is a pub with a pint of Guinness at the end of it.
